The Packaging Clerk is responsible for the secure and effective filling, packaging and labeling of Emerald Health Therapeutics' medical cannabis products. This is a full-time position based in the Saanich area of Victoria, BC.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Participate in manual, high-volume packaging runs of various products with teammates
  • Package and ensure the correct amount of product is put into containers
  • Assist in physically moving incoming items to designated storage areas by hand
  • Clean and Maintain work area(s)
  • Ensure all packages are properly labeled
  • Assist with inventory counts
  • Work in an area with moderate noise due to fans, pumps, etc.
  • Use various equipment such as a computer, printer, photocopier, fax machine, calculator
  • Other related duties as assigned

    • Requirements

  • Previous packaging experience preferred
  • Fine motor skills are required
  • Flexibility and adaptable to change
  • Ability to work well within a team and with minimal supervision
  • The physical requirement will include standing for long periods of time, bending and lifting 20 lbs frequently and up to 50 lbs occasionally
