Outside Sales Representative

Sales Reps should expect to spend 75%+ on the road setting meetings, making initial contact, signing new accounts, building and maintaining relationships, running Patient Appreciation Days, running bud tender trainings, and relaying all important information regarding the climate of the industry to the Sales Director.

The compensation for this role will be a competitive commission of 11% commission only no base

Open New Accounts:

  • Generate qualified leads by means of web research, attending expos, events, networking, etc.
  • Travel to retail stores to present our products and introduce the company to managers and buyers.
  • Assess customer needs, answer questions, and assist with the ordering process.
  • Follow leads as provided by the office team.
  • Meet or exceed monthly revenue goals.
  • Grow current accounts by additional product offering as they become available.
  • Customer Service:

  • Develop relationships with retail store owners, managers and staff.
  • Communicate a deep understanding of the many advantages of our products.
  • Support stores post-sale.
  • Promote our brand to customers and the industry at all public venues.
  • Assess customer needs, answer questions and assist with the ordering process.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams in order to deliver product to new and existing clients in agreed upon timeline.
  • Accountability:

  • Reports directly to the Sales Director.
  • Work closely with the Sales team to communicate all sales related activities including travel schedule, prospect lists, and event participation and dispensary demonstration calendars.
  • Develop reports pertaining to sales activities for management and update them weekly.
  • Compensation and Expectations of hours:

    Sales Representatives are expected to work full time, 40 hours a week.

    Other:

    Sales Representatives must dress and present yourself with the highest level of professionalism so as to leave a positive impression at all meetings and with all store employees. No need for a tie, but dress appropriately

    Required Qualifications:

  • Be an enthusiastic advocate for the cannabis industry and specifically for our products.
  • Possess proven customer service and people skills.
  • Have a minimum of 1 year directly related experience, preferably with a brand name product, or in the cannabis industry.
  • Minimum 21 years old.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Provide own reliable transportation for sales calls and maintain a clean driving record.
  • Pass a DMV an criminal background check.
