Order Fulfillment Technician

Sunderstorm is looking for an Order Fulfillment Technician to become a core member of our Order Fulfillment Department. This position is physically demanding, fast-paced, and requires sitting and standing for long periods of time. The Order Fulfillment Assistant will work directly under our Inventory Manager; they will primarily assist at a clerical and administrative level, but may sometimes also package finished goods into delivery boxes in specific quantities for our retail clients (i.e. dispensaries). These boxes, which make up specific orders, are then delivered directly to dispensaries by our distribution drivers.

The Order Fulfillment Assistant will take on regular data entry and computer tasks, that may include the generation of shipping manifests, managing or adjusting stock within the ERP system, emailing and printing test certifications for our products (for example). This position requires high attention to detail, strong communication skills, organizational skills, and a willingness to be positive and flexible, despite innate challenges in a start-up company.

Requirements

  • California residency with valid ID is required
  • Your own transportation and occasional driving may be required
  • Your own cell phone and laptop may be required
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks for extended period of time
  • Fluency in Excel, Google Drive, Microsoft Office Suite is required
  • Data entry experience preferred
  • College degree preferred
  • Detail oriented and organized
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
  • Must have excellent manual dexterity and impeccable personal hygiene
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
  • Fluency in both written and spoken English
