Operations Assistant

The Operations Assistant plays a vital role in ensuring the high-quality experience we deliver time and time again. The Operations Assistant assists the Operations Manager with all aspects of the distribution process. They are engaged in every step and work together with the Operations Manager to ensure our product goes to market in an efficient way while maintaining its quality and integrity. We have high standards of productivity and quality as set forth by our commitment to producing the best possible cannabis we can using the most responsible methods available.

Our ideal candidate should demonstrate an understanding and skill for creative problem solving, as well as critical thinking relevant to the job. It is preferred that candidates have inventory management/recording and cannabis packaging experience and are tech-savvy. That being said, long standing work experience in other industries will also be looked at positively.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Accurate measuring, packaging, and labeling of cannabis flower, ensuring compliance with state regulations and company policies and procedures
  • Maintain the highest levels of cleanliness and sterility within distribution
  • Use various equipment including laptops, printers, scales, label applicators, heat guns,and pre-roll machines as required for the task at hand
  • Responsible for Quality Control and maintenance of all packaging equipment.
  • Safely transport products from work space to storage area and outgoing orders
  • Acknowledges any product/inventory issues and properly reports them to management
  • Completes general warehouse inventory counts and organization
  • Maximize productivity levels through efficiencies in reduction of material waste and elimination of downtime
  • Pulling of product inventory and supplies from the limited access areas as needed for orders and/or delegated by the Operations Supervisor or Management
  • Creating sales and purchase orders
  • Schedule laboratory testing for newly intake product and overseeing the testing procedure.
  • Occasional errands delegated by Operations Supervisor / Management.
  • Take instructions well and execute tasks delegated by the Operations Supervisor or Management.

  • Capable of accurately performing manual labor tasks on a regular basis
  • Extremely high attention to detail, including the ability to detect quality defects and perform accurate counts and measurements
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment where major changes happen quickly
  • Effective time management and ability to meet production goals
  • Trustworthy and hardworking
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
  • Commitment to positive communication, teamwork and learning
  • Demonstrated history of strong attendance, including the ability to adhere to a schedule
  • Proficient with computers, printers and key office software: Google G Suite (Docs/Sheets), MS Word/Excel.

  • Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to perform the following physical tasks: sitting, standing, squatting, stretching, walking, bending, twisting, reaching, performing repetitive motions, and carrying boxes.
  • Must be able to lift boxes 25lbs+
  • Qualifications:

  • Must pass a state background check.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Must be 21 years or older.
  • Shifts:

    Monday - Friday: 8am - 5pm

    Experience: Inventory Management: 1 year (Preferred) Cannabis Industry: 2 years (Preferred) Quality Assurance: 1 year (Preferred)

    Education: High school or equivalent (Preferred)

    Work authorization: United States (Required)
