The Bookkeeper/Business Office Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the administrative side of Sparx Cannabis

Key Bookkeeping Responsibilities:

  • Receive all vendor invoices to forward for approval and coding
  • Process weekly check runs and necessary-timely payments
  • Process weekly payroll
  • Respond to vendor requests for payment status
  • Review vendor statements and follow up on outstanding invoices or balances
  • Collect mail daily & deposit/post any checks received
  • Track all licenses and permits and proactively ensure their activestatus
  • Audit and post all sales invoices received by Sales/Operations
  • Manage filing AR & AP filing systems
  • Act as general accounting support during regular, quarterly, and annual tax filings
  • Maintain all necessary compliance-related records and reporting
  • Manage payroll administrator and office administrator’s duties
  • Qualifications:

  • College Degree preferred
  • At least 3 years in a Bookkeeping, AR/AP, or Business Office Management role
  • Minimum 1-3 years of QuickBooks experience and Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Organized and detail-oriented
  • Effective problem-solving abilities and ability to multi-task
  • Effective interpersonal and strong communication skills, Spanish-speaking is a major plus.
  • High-energy team player with strong social skills
  • Experience: quickbooks: 1 year (Preferred)
