METRC Specialist - Packaging

️ Compliance

Effectively support the Distribution department in the administration of the Company’s METRC software; maintain accurate tracking of the individual movements of all bulk and branded flower to ensure compliance with State laws/regulations.

Essential Functions:

Administration of METRC software ensuring compliance and accuracy at all times

Assist with batch records and ensure accuracy.

Tracking of all product and inventory.

Preparing orders for going-out.

Adjusting and maintaining logs for adjustments and waste logs.

Create and maintain reports as needed.

Ensure packages entering are the correct weight per the manifests.

Regularly attend METRC classes as available and maintain certifications.

Ensures that all packages/products entering and leaving the facility are always compliant.

Required Education and Experience:

College degree preferred

Strong knowledge of the cannabis industry

Excellent understanding of basic weights/measurements

Advanced mathematical skills

Highly proficient in Excel, Word, MS Office

Ability to multi-task working in a fast-paced environment with minimal direction

Strong work ethic; ability to adapt to adjusting workload and priority levels

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Ability to sit for long periods of time utilizing a computer

Excels in team environments and in building and developing interpersonal relationships while maintaining an individual focus/determination to achieve established goals

Experience: cannabis: 3 years (Preferred)

Education: Bachelor's (Preferred)
