As we continue to growthe ever-expanding Flav family, we are seeking an experienced METRC systemadministrator for a full-time position in San Diego, CA. METRC stands for MarijuanaEnforcement, Tracking, Reporting, and Compliance. METRC is a web-based,state-mandated tracking and reporting software to maintain chain of custody ofall marijuana products from seed to sale. As the expert for the track and traceprogram, the METRC Specialist manages all activities related to the entry,tracking and reporting of cannabis products to ensure compliance to stateregulations. The idealcandidate will possess a high attention to detail, a strong technical aptitude,and the ability proactively seek out and develop creative solutions tochallenges as they arise.

Key Duties &Responsibilities (include but not limited to):

  • Reports all commercial cannabis activity in the METRC Track & Trace system that pertains to the intake, processing, packaging, labeling, and waste of cannabis and cannabis products.
  • Works with Fulfillment and Salesteams to ensure METRC transfers are seamless within the customer order fulfillmentprocess.
  • Assists Fulfillment with routine auditsof inventory quantities and compares the results with the state METRC Track& Trace system; investigates and corrects any discrepancies.
  • Develops internal SOP’s related tosystems administration, assigning and transfer of tags, and auditing processes.
  • Acts as METRC Subject Matter Expert(SME) and provides guidance and training to internal counterparts.
  • Maintains an inventory of tags,labels, and other supplies necessary for Track & Trace.
  • Skill Requirements

  • Ability to enter, manipulate and synthesizelarge amounts of data.
  • Strong problem solving ability, witha significant sense of ownership and accountability for one’s work.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and investigatesystem errors.
  • Methodical approach to work, with ahigh level of organizational skill and the ability to produce concise,informative reports.
  • Ability to work independently and inconcert with internal counterparts.
  • Qualifications

  • High school diploma orequivalent required. Bachelor’s degree in business, information systems, orlife sciences discipline strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of two (2) yearsof experience in medical or recreational cannabis industry.
  • Understanding of invoicing,manifesting, logistics and distribution within the cannabis industry.
  • Strong data entry experience.
  • Ability to occasionallylift up to 40 pounds.
  • Additional Requirements

  • Must be a minimum of 21 yearsof age
