METRC Inventory Specialist

️ Compliance

Ensure the accuracy of inventory and METRC track and trace records. You will provide leadership in the proper implementation of track and trace processes, procedures, and systems.

You enjoy working in a fast-paced environment focused on precision, efficiency, and compliance to state regulations. You understand and work with inventory tracking software, internal systems, METRC tracking software, and 3rd party integration with track and trace software.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead frequent cycle counts of inventory across departments
  • Identify and solve physical and electronic inventory discrepancies
  • Inspect METRC, third-party software data, and compile reports for accuracy and compliance with state regulations
  • Work with management and team members to reduce errors in data entry and required reporting / records maintenance
  • Regularly submit findings of cycle counts and inspections to management
  • Assist with development and maintenance of SOPs for track and trace implementation and related regulatory compliance
  • Meet all department KPI’s
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • Take part in overall facility cleanliness
  • Support management in additional duties as requested
  • JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Associates degree preferred; High School Diploma required
  • 1-2 years’ experience with METRC tracking system or similar inventory tracking software in a highly regulated industry
  • Ability to perform inventory control and audits
  • Excellent analytical and reporting skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills including Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Current working knowledge of the CA cannabis industry and regulations
  • Ability to adapt to frequently changing state and local regulations
  • Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be able to work with ERP systems and their integration with METRC
