METRC Compliance Specialist

This is a Part-Time position. Hourswill be: 8pm-1am or 5am-10am or acombination

PURPOSE

METRC stands for Marijuana Enforcement, Tracking, Reporting,and Compliance. METRC is a web-based state-mandated tracking and reportingsoftware to chart chain of custody of all marijuana and marijuana-infusedproducts from seed to sale. A METRC Compliance Specialist will be efficient inworking with multiple departments that are utilizing the METRC system. Thesuccessful candidate will have experience in a fast paced ever changingindustry with an exceptional work ethic and strong observation skills.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Creating daily METRC shipping manifest documents for all daily retail delivery routes.
  • Verifying manifests to ensure proper information is correctly filled and completed prior to departures
  • Applying METRC UID tags to packages of cannabis goods as they are received or created into the track and trace system.
  • Verifying packages that are created and broken down are correct with its affixed METRC tag
  • Preparing documentation and processes for cannabis waste disposal
  • Auditing Inventory Control Forms in conjunction with METRC to identify discrepancies
  • Performing weekly and bi-weekly inventory audits to ensure inventory in METRC is accurate and satisfies physical representation per BCC rules and regulations
  • Reporting and identifying Root Cause for discrepancies after an audit has been performed to evaluate what issues had occurred
  • Verifying manifests to ensure proper information is correctly filled and completed prior to departures
  • Verifying packages that are created and broken down are correct with its affixed METRC tag
  • Preparing documentation and processes for marijuana waste disposal
  • Other responsibilities as assigned by supervisors
  • Conducting QA analysis of incoming cannabis goods
  • Identifying non-compliant packaging & labeling and initiating remediation & relabeling processes, when applicable
  • Upholding compliance and regulatory requirements at all times; maintains the reputation of the company, first and foremost.
  • Communicating any quality control issues immediately and escalate to the proper departments if necessary. Understands and follows the requirements of the quality assurance and control
  • Identifies and documents any compliance problems related to the product, process, operational or the quality assurance system.
  • Recommends, provides or initiates solutions by actively providing suggestions for improvement.
  • ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS

    · High School Diploma or Equivalent

    · 1+ years of administrative office and/or high-volume dataentry experience

    · Strong organizational skills; Ability to multitask at ahigh level of performance.

    · Strong written and verbal communication skills

    · Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint), Smartsheet, Adobe Acrobat

    · Experience with new processes implementation, includingon-going support

    · Strong sense of urgency and prioritization skills

    · Cannabis regulation and/or product knowledge is a plus

    · Prior experience working with cannabis labs, distribution,cultivation or manufacturing is a plus
