Marketing Specialist - Digital Platforms

The Marketing Specialist-Digital Plaforms works in collaboration with the Marketing team under the direction of the Creative Marketing & Branding Manager to plan and manage from concept to execution all marketing related digital platforms for Terra Tech Corp/Blüm.

Essential Functions:

  • Optimizes and explores available digital channels to gain exposure for Blüm and all other brands under the Terra Tech Corp. umbrella.
  • Oversees database maintenance for new and potential customers; and distributes pertinent customer data to necessary parties.
  • Establishes standard reporting metrics for all digital content to track trends, spending and customer preferences.
  • Serves as the point of contact for digital platforms including WeedMpas, Leafly, aPop, Green Bits, FaceBook, Instagram, Twitter, etc.
  • Conducts marketing research to identify effective trends and promotional methods to reach target markets.
  • Supports ongoing development and maintenance of all digital platforms.
  • Partners with the marketing team to support and execute campaigns for various digital channels, such as E-mail, Social Ads, Loyalty and Reward Programs, etc.
  • Compiles audit reports on project KPIs for Creative Marketing and Branding Manager s review and distribution to respective department heads.
  • Performs other related duties and projects as business needs require at the direction of management.
  • Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Communications, Marketing, Advertising, Public Relations or related discipline.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of digital marketing experience; viable experience in the cannabis industry preferred.
  • Proven experience managing campaign calendars, launching and monitoring campaigns.
  • Proven experience coordinating across cross-departmental teams.
  • Comfortable managing multiple projects with long and short term lead times in a fat-paced, timeline-driven environment.

  • Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Possesses an intimate understanding of traditional and emerging marketing channels including inbound strategy.
  • Strong knowledge of key digital platforms and channels within the cannabis retail industry.
  • Familiarity with the latest trends, technologies and methodologies in web design, production, etc.
  • Extensive knowledge of standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the cannabis industry.
  • Proficient knowledge of general office procedures.
  • Ability to make administrative/procedural decisions and judgments.
  • Ability to clearly identify issues and formulate and convey solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain cohesive work teams.
  • Ability to prioritize and organize duties and responsibilities effectively.

  • Works in an office environment, but may also travel to retail, cultivation and distribution centers; which will result in direct exposure to moderate noise levels and moderate levels of dust and other chemicals.
