Marketing Manager

The Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing and executing strategic marketing plans in order to attract potential guests, retain existing guests and strengthen brand value. Together with the Director of Marketing, the Marketing Manager will implement the annual marketing plan and budget to achieve maximum revenues and brand loyalty.

Requirements

  • Assists with developing and implementing annual marketing plans
  • Uses guest and historical data to help guide all strategic marketing decisions
  • Creates and implements all print and digital advertising campaigns
  • Plans and executes all promotions, events, content, photo shoots and video shoots
  • Responsible for implementing all public relations and social media initiatives
  • Continually monitors and implements digital marketing and social media trends, tools and best practices
  • Develops and executes all sponsorship opportunities, community outreach activities and local business partnerships that support the brand strategy
  • Constantly monitors industry trends and conducts market research. Summarizes relevant findings to department stakeholders
  • Analyzes Secret shopper Reports and Guest Feedback. Makes recommendations for improvement to department stakeholders.
  • Serves as the main point of contact for the marketing department to contractors, agencies and department stakeholders
  • Works within the marketing budget to achieve acceptable return on investment and goals
  • Achieves revenue, profit goals, growth percentages and other relevant targets
  • Hires, trains and effectively manages a marketing staff
  • Adheres to all local jurisdictional and state mandated cannabis advertising regulations
  • OTHER DUTIES

  • Comply with company policies and operating procedure manual
  • Maintain knowledge and utilize computer software programs applicable to the department, i.e Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe, Photoshop, etc.
  • Knowledge of Google Analytics, Word press and other digital marketing programs, software and tools
  • Maintain a good awareness of changes in trends, techniques, and guest needs, and communicate that information effectively in staff and department meetings
  • Meet attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to regulatory, departmental and company policies
  • Adhere to confidentiality policy and all other company policies, procedure and rules as presented by Essence
  • Perform other job duties as assigned and participate in special projects at management’s request
  • EDUCATION

  • College degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or related field. Business concentration preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of Marketing experience in a high-volume environment
  • Preference for agency, hospitality or service industry experience preferred
  • Must be able to work flexible hours
  • Must be able to work any day of the week, including holidays, as well as a varied schedule
