Manufacturing Lab Technician

Job Purpose:

Apply knowledge of engineering, scientific lab procedures, techniques, and machinery in performing a broad range of duties during day-to-day operations during manufacturing. This includes operation and maintenance of chemical equipment, data entry, report writing, experimental development, SOP improvement, cleaning and maintaining manufacturing space, and proper and safe use of materials.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist and maintain operations and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment by following SOP's
  • Handle downstream production by following day-to-day operation plan to match production goals
  • Develop and improve processes by optimizing as allowed or directed.
  • Keep the facility and working environment to normal clean floor standards
  • Adhere to the highest level of confidentiality when operating in and outside of the operating floor.
  • Follow SOP's and instructions during preparation, set-up, and the usage of manufacturing equipment
  • Communicate with Management to determine and plan manufacturing production goals for the week/month
  • Maintain inventory of the supply of raw material and product
  • Ensure all data streams and cloud data platforms are properly logged, updated, and secured every day
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA, GMP, and GLP
  • Other duties as assigned that may or may not be commensurate with the level of responsibility of this job description.

    • Qualifications & Skills:

    Required: At least an associates or its equivalent.

    Qualifications/Skills needed:

    Fluent in English, excellent communication skills, proficient with Microsoft Office, comfortable with mathematical calculations, formula interpretation, measurements and chemical reactions, able to manage processes, present technical Information, work efficiently with little to no supervision, operate machinery safely and perform routine maintenance, train future employees on new technology, analyze data, and maintain a focus on quality. Must pass criminal background check, have a valid driver's license and a vehicle to get to and from work.

    Physical Demands:

    Wear various safety gear such as goggles, masks, aprons, gloves, hairnets, jumpsuits, etc. throughout work shift. Lift up to 50 pounds, stand, bend and twist throughout shift.

    Experience: Lab: 1 years (Preferred)

    Education: High school or equivalent (Preferred)

    License: Driver's (Required)

    Work authorization: United States (Required)
