Lead Inventory Associate

Curaleaf, a medical marijuana cultivation center, is seeking an Inventory Lead for our location in Phoenix, AZ. The Inventory Lead is an hourly FLSA non-exempt position under the direction of the Director of Supply Chain with assistance from the Store Manager and Inventory Manager as needed.

The Inventory Lead is responsible for oversight of all inventory related operations within the Stores. The ideal candidate will use their leadership and organizational skills to assert strong processes to ensure daily control of all aspects of inventory.

Job Description

Works directly with the Inventory Manager to monitor the inventory systems for their Swell location

Runs reports requested by Inventory Manager pertaining to their Stores inventory

Oversees daily categorical inventory audits and follows up via email regarding trends and issues that arise

Reviews Current Inventory Reports and creates a list of needed items for their Store

When Hub opens, use Order Sheets and follow Hub Order SOP for ordering day to day needs from the Hub

Participates in weekly Inventory calls with Store Managers and Corporate Inventory Team

Work with Store Managers/Corporate Team to support in-store training for new inventory control processes

Works with inventory team to ensure all products for promotions are entered correctly in Biotrack and distributed correctly in-store

Verifying all Vendor deliveries are correctly received and verified via invoices and are correctly entered into Biotrack

Ensure all received product is organized and sorted for easy distribution

Communicate clearly and effectively within the Store to ensure full understanding of deliveries and product locations

Secondary role is to support the Store in the capacity of a Budtender upon completion of all primary responsibilities (see Budtender Job Description)

Check through entirety of sales floor inventory/cross reference stockroom to ensure every product that we have available has been adequately stocked, anticipate best sellers that will need to be restocked

Check through flower and convert any eligible items to shake, check for strains over 60 days old to drop a tier (check with Warehouse Manager before dropping), put out a solid amount of strains per dominance, per tier

Stock according to upcoming sales/promos-reference calendar as well as daily specials

Take necessary precautions to signify any stragglers from previous batches (prerolls, prize wheel items) those few exceptions where we have to keep items fully stocked and didn't happen to wait for an entire batch to sell out

Analyze worst sellers to coordinate transfers (with Warehouse Manager) or propose a promo

Lists of inventory needs between inventory meetings

Make lists for the team to update Leafly, Weedmaps and display menus with

Possibly weigh in on the team with the quality of certain products to provide feedback to corp.

Quality check concentrates and edibles, as well as checking expiration dates

Sending out lists of returns on products to Janice

Perform other related duties as required.

Authority The Inventory Lead oversees the direction of inventory control throughout their store with support of the Store Management Team.

Qualifications

Per state law, must be at least 21 years old

Must maintain a valid Dispensary Agent Card; covered by Swell Farmacy as long as the candidate does not voluntarily resign within six months

Preferably have thorough understanding of the State of Arizona’s Medical Marijuana Regulations

Consistently responsible and timely in performing daily tasks.

Firm understanding of Patient Privacy Regulations

Thorough understanding of Arizona’s Medical Marijuana Regulations

Intermediate computer skills required: 40-kpm; 10,000 10-key; intermediate experience in Microsoft Office suite and open-source search engines

Capable decision maker

Able to quickly add, subtract, multiply, and divide: must complete a Math and Excel test
