Laboratory Assistant

CannaSafe is seeking a detail-oriented and hardworking laboratory assistant to join our team. You will be part of a passionate group that is working to create safer cannabis according to state regulations. There are tons of growth opportunities for individuals that go above and beyond by putting in extra hours and lending a hand wherever and whenever they can. Self-starters welcome!

Some example laboratory assistant duties include:

  • Input sample data and paperwork into system;
  • Photograph samples and products;
  • Prep samples for processing in the lab;
  • Sterilize and wash equipment;
  • Uphold laboratory safety standards
  • Keep intake area clean and tidy;
  • Support intake manager and daily intake duties;

    • Requirements

  • 1-2 years warehouse, laboratory, food handling, or budtending experience or 1-2 years of experience working in a team setting;
  • Knowledge of cannabis product categories (plant, concentrate, infused products);
  • Great communication skills;
  • Clean, organized, and detail oriented;
  • Must be open to working nights and weekends;
  • Cheerful, positive, can-do attitude;
  • Associates Degree preferred, but not required;
  • 21 or older, authorized to work in the US, and be able to pass a background check.
