Lab Receptionist

ChemHistory laboratory is seeking a part-time Receptionist/Data Entry Representative. This position is responsible for client communication and orders, scheduling appointments, data entry of quality control sheets, and maintaining quality assurance in an analytical laboratory setting.

Qualified applicants will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, friendly customer service abilities, and strong organizational skills. Applicants must be proficient in administrative support. Additional training will be provided at the time of hire.

Typical responsibilities for this position include:

  • Manage phone and online clients, lab and operational communications
  • Handle scheduling
  • Data entry and spreadsheet management for multiple departments
  • Other duties as assigned (i.e., cleaning, upkeeping filing system & records, sample disposal)
  • Qualifications (required):

  • 1+ year spreadsheet management and data entry experience
  • 1+ year Customer Service experience
  • Associated degree or higher
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word & Excel, Google sheets
  • Highly motivated, reliable team member, & ability to work as part of a team
  • High attention to detail & ability to follow standard operating procedures
  • 21+ years old
  • Desired attributes (not required, but a plus):

    Schedule: This position is 25 hours a week, 12pm-5pm, Monday through and Friday.
