Lab Production Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and energetic full time laboratory production manager whos responsible for the Laboratory Operations This includes but is not limited to:(Post processing and Extraction) staffing,equipment,equipment purchasing, processing protocols, strategizing day to day production while supervising post processing and extraction teams.

DUTIES:

Oversee, direct, and operate all aspects of extraction & post processing department’s from product pre-prep, extraction, and post-processing.

Work towards setting and meeting department goals around efficiencies, yields and cost.

Ability to operate and control all equipment in a laboratory-type environment including Ironfist, OSS Machines, SPD.

Works with operations director to develop and document SOP for extraction department & Processing department

Work with operations director to Develop extraction department organizational chart, workflow, and step by step process and procedure for training module.

Recruit, hire and train extraction,post processing technicians and other positions in the lab.

Directly supervises extraction,post processing technicians.

Evaluate performance, set goals, provide feedback and discipline to extraction,post processing team members.

Supervises, trains, tasks and motivates crew members and leads team

Ensures consistency and efficacy of product through quality control testing and procedures.

Organize and oversee all duties required to ensure a clean and safe production facility.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Science, Biology, Bio-Chemistry or related field

Minimum of one year paid experience working with hydrocarbon extraction equipment

Ability to consistently produce high quality concentrates

Distillation experience

Have a reliable vehicle and smartphone.

General computer and email proficiency.

Must be able to work legally in the US.

Over 21 years of age.

Valid driver’s license

Knowledge and understanding of state and local laws

Understanding of proper and safe handling of hazardous materials

Understanding of Lean Six Sigma, Toyota Kata

Familiarity with separations, isolation and fractionation

Knowledge of solventless extraction methods

Ability to work efficiently without compromising accuracy and standards

Ability to discern the quality of plant material and finished products

Strong computer skills

Effective communication and social skills

Experience: Extraction: 1 year (Required) Distillation: 1 Year (Required)

Education: Bachelor's (Required)

Available shifts and compensation: We have available shifts all days of the week. Compensation depends on your experience.
