Lab Lead

Green Star Growing, Inc is looking for a Full Time Lab Lead to join our team in Southern Oregon.

Responsibilities will include:

Overseeing daily lab activity

Regular, written activity and progress reports

Managing lab staff including scheduling and assigning duties

Working in Metrc and internal systems to ensure full compliance with current OLCC rules/regulations

Maintain accurate records of processes and yields

Ability to produce detailed production reports and forecasts

Following established SOPs to produce a high level of product quality/consistency

Detailed record keeping

Daily communication with Senior Management Team

Maintain accountability while helping others build knowledge and tools for success

Desired Knowledge and Skills:

Experience with CO2 extraction

Management experience

Experience with Metrc

General computer proficiency

Clear and concise communication skills

Organized with attention to detail

Team player with good communication skills

Innovative thinker

Understanding trends and new technology in cannabis

Microsft Excel and Word

Google Suite

Qualification and Requirements: BS in Chemistry or equivalent extraction experience Must be 21 years of age with a valid MWP (Marijuana Workers Permit) Reliable Transportation

Experience: Relevant: 1 year (Preferred)
