Junior Counsel

Grassroots Cannabis is looking for a Junior Counsel to join our growing team! The ideal candidate is proactive, innovative and passionate, able to initiate best practices, works well with teams, and find answers when it appears there are none.

Role Responsibilities

Facilitate the process for legal documents such as: vendor agreements, supply agreements, technology agreements, NDAs, LOIs, and licensing agreements.

Support marketing to ensure packaging and labeling requirements in adherence to all state regulations

Work closely with our compliance department to ensure observance of all state regulations

Collaborate with internal business partners to establish best practices

Provide training across the organization in order to ensure consistency

Review and provide clearance for marketing efforts and, from time to time, help manage brand protection and other IP efforts

Manage outside legal resources in order to properly leverage company resources

Role Requirements: 3+ years of legal experience

Bachelors’ Degree

Law degree earned from an accredited law school
