Jr. IT Support Specialist

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technology support to Harvest One and all of it’s subsidiaries. The position will be the first line of support and contact for everything technology related from computers (both PC & Mac), to phones, enterprise accounts, access control systems, video recording systems, Office 365, Google Suite, Networking, AWS, Azure, equipment swaps, etc. As the first line of contact for the IT team, a friendly & approachable demeanor is an asset. Additionally, working in a regulated industry, a keen attention to process, procedure, backups, and security is a benefit. As a JR. IT Administrator, you will work to solve all level 1 requests while escalating the more complex issues to the senior team. This is a salary position that will be based in the Harvest One Vancouver Downtown office and will require travel. As IT maintenance windows are outside of regular business hours, some work functions will have to be performed outside the standard work day. An individual who can work with minimal supervision, is responsible, and is a self-starter would be ideal for this position.

  • Required Education, Skills and Qualifications

  • 1 – 2 years of user support experience (or equivalent education).
  • Experience with both Mac & PC
  • Up-to-date knowledge of the latest IT and software trends
  • Strong communication skills (verbal & written)
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Enthusiasm for continual learning
  • Strong customer service ethos
  • Attention to detail
  • Solid understanding of networking
  • Ability to self-identify knowledge gaps and work to close them
  • Relevant certifications (ie: CompTIA), formal education, or equivalent work experience preferred
  • Experience: Information Technology: 1 year (Required)
