IT Infrastructure Analyst

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Implements new technology-based solutions
  • Coordinates activities with vendors and third-party suppliers as required
  • Maintains any pertinent hardware and software inventories required for rollout
  • Participates in design, build and test activities
  • As requested, researches and recommends hardware and software products
  • Complies with all project management expectations relating to documentation standards, status reporting etc.
  • Stays abreast of new and emerging technologies
  • Utilize a variety of partners to assist with the design and architecture of infrastructure and applications
  • Play a key role, including hands on as required, in the projects that will deploy infrastructure and applications
  • Contribute to the overall IS strategy as required
  • Assist with troubleshooting and resolving a wide range of technical related problems.
  • SKILLS REQUIRED:

    Large enterprise experience with:

  • Windows Server environment
  • Enterprise switch configuration, routing, and wireless solutions
  • Certificate management
  • Server Virtualization technologies
  • Storage solutions
  • DHCP configuration
  • VPN solutions
  • NTP
  • Radius
  • DFSR
  • Cloud platforms such as AWS and/or Azure
  • Information security best practices as it relates to infrastructure
  • Experience with the following is considered an asset:
  • IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS concepts
  • Hyperconverged Infrastructure
  • Linux based environments
  • Call centre technology and management
  • Industrial control systems
  • Software Defined Wide Area Network (SD-WAN) devices and architecture
  • Excellent customer service skills, positive attitude
  • Resourceful and collaborative
  • Excellent organizational & multitasking skills
  • Quick learner
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Strong team player
  • Bilingual in French and English, an asset
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly adapt; maintain focus and a high degree of accuracy while working with complex data in an environment of ever-changing deadlines, priorities and requirements
  • Excellent communication skills (oral, written and presentation)

  • EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Undergraduate degree or diploma in IT
  • Minimum 7 – 10 years of progressive IT experience working in a complex environment with many distributed sites
  • 5+ years working as a technical architect in in large enterprises
  • 5+ years’ experience working with Microsoft Windows servers in large enterprises
  • 7+ years’ experience administering Microsoft Active Directory in large enterprises
  • 3+ years’ experience administering the Microsoft Office 365 suite of applications
  • 3+ years’ experience administering mobile device management (MDM) software in large enterprises
  • 3+ years’ experience administering Microsoft Skype for Business in large enterprises
  • 3+ years’ experience working with a variety of storage systems
  • 3+ years’ experience imaging Windows 10 in large enterprises
  • 3+ years’ experience working on projects in large enterprises
  • Experience working with Microsoft Azure and O365 in large enterprises
  • Experience in the design and deployment of Private and Hybrid Clouds in large enterprises
  • Linux experience is a benefit
  • Experience with projects involving multi-disciplinary teams operating in a fast-paced, innovation driven environment.
  • Knowledge of the emerging cannabis industry would be considered an asset.
