Inventory Lead

We are looking for an Inventory Lead who is excited about building a new industry. The ideal candidate is skilled within the field of Inventory, detailed oriented, and is a team player.

At the highest level, the Inventory Lead is responsible for all inventory activities to and from the Arcata Warehouse, managing the packing, labeling and storage of all products - cannabis or otherwise, as well as tracking cannabis through CPG production and processing of product(s) in our digitized track and trace system.

Key Responsibilities: Over all Inventory department and staff including but not limited to shipping/ receiving, Inventory, QC/QA product, packaging and monthly audits, weekly reports .

  • Maintain and supervise all intake, outtake, and storage.
  • Ensure every package is organized and labeled
  • Scheduling and overseeing lab testing events
  • Ensure all inventory correlates directly to packages in Metrc and additional spreadsheets
  • All Cannabis Inventory is stored in temperature control and in proper packaging.
  • Manage orders, create and store shipping manifests, pack and stage shipments, ensure compliance met before shipment
  • Track and report dry goods inventory in warehouse.
  • Create and update all Inventory SOP's for the warehouse.
  • Work with Compliance to make sure Inventory meets all requirements by Bureau of Cannabis Control (BBC) and the California Department of Food and Agriculture (CDFA)
  • Responsible for the Inventory area, Packaging Room, Processing Room, and Shipping Container Storage
  • Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Reliable transportation
  • Passes Livescan background check
  • No recreational cannabis-use is tolerated during work hours.
  • Must be 21+ years of age
  • Must have legal working status
