Inventory Control Coordinator

We are currently adding a calculated and skilled Inventory Control Coordinator that preferably would have proven experience within the cannabis industry as well.

Under the direction of the Inventory Control Manager, the Inventory Control Coordinator is responsible for all assigned tasks relating to inventory control, including but not limited to managing product or company resources, data entry, and physical movement of items. They must also recognize and resolve quantity discrepancies, and work closely with Inventory and Distribution Center Managers.

The successful candidate will preferably be familiar with the cannabis industry, and will have exceptional attention to detail and organization skills. He or she will join the team within Production and ensure that all inventory is accounted for as well as predict future inventory needs by sales patterns, etc.

Responsibilities:

  • Product management and tracking.
  • Responsible for reconciling incoming shipments with their associated POs and delivery statuses in company databases.
  • Work hand in hand with both the production management team as well as HQ to ensure all customer needs will be met.
  • Conduct Cycle Count inventory processes to ensure accuracy and timely execution
  • Schedule categories for Cycle Count inventory and maintain strict records
  • Oversee and evaluate stock rotation procedures
  • Identify any procedural/process trends that negatively impact inventory and communicate observations to inventory manager accordingly so proper action can be taken.
  • Sound analytical skills; being adept at analyzing problems, reaching decisions, executing and following up.
  • Required Qualifications:

  • Proven work experience as an Inventory Control Specialist for 3+ years
  • Strong predictive inventory skills
  • Cycle Counting
  • Familiarity with inventory tools such as Microsoft Excel and product management tools.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proactive attitude to trends and sales analytics
  • Must be 21 or older
  • Preferred: OSHA knowledge Bilingual (Spanish and English) Forklift certified or willing to be certified by our team.

    Experience: Forklift Operator: 1 year (Preferred) Inventory Control: 3 years (Required) Cannabis: 3 years (Preferred) Cycle Counting: 3 years (Required)
