The Herbal Center is a progressive, fun and exciting Tier 2 Cannabis Cultivation in Denver, CO. We have an opening for a hands on Harvest Technician. As the Harvest Technician, you will be a member of a team who are responsible for the post harvest handling, trimming and market preparation of our products.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Harvesting plants and dry trimming.
Ability to work well in a small team environment.
De-leafing the plants.
Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Account for waste management procedures.
Implement good agricultural practices (GAPs) and follow all State Guidelines.
All other functions as designated by the Harvest Manager.
COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS:
Must have experience trimming Cannabis.
Must be able to trim > 2.5-3 lbs of finished product within an 8 hr shift.
Be able to follow production schedules in a fast-paced environment.
Must have accountability and strong attention to detail.
Must be self motivated, enthusiastic, responsible and professional.
Must possess MED Occupational Support Badge.
Physical aptitude and health necessary to perform manual labor tasks required of a high volume and demanding grow warehouse.
Standing, walking, lifting, twisting, and bending on a frequent basis for at least 8-hour shifts.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and carry it up to 90 feet (or deposit into dumpster or trash compactor).
Ability to work and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
Base pay starts at $14
Excellent Benefits Package (Health, Dental, Vision) after 90 days
Employment hours are from 9:00a - 6:00pm, 5 days a week. Must be able to work weekends, if needed.
