Harvest Technician

This position will report directly to the Production Manager and will be responsible for meeting all the listed requirements. The Harvest Team Leader will be responsible for the management of all operational processes of post-cultivation, including but not limited to harvesting, curing, and processing of all post cultivation plant material to ensure proper status for either packaging or extraction.

CORE JOB DUTIES:

  • Management of proper handling material throughout the entire post-cultivation process.
  • Ensure harvest processing is compliant with all appropriate state regulations.
  • Creating and modifying Harvest team schedules in relation to Harvest and Production schedules.
  • Coach Harvest team technicians to increase processing efficiency.
  • Record and capture data precisely from all operations that are performed daily.
  • Maintain a clean work environment in all respective areas.
  • Ensure that proper protective equipment is being used.
  • Submit test samples to the laboratory and receive/organize test results.
  • Transparent communication with all team members and managers.

    • REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND SKILLS

  • Required to lift a minimum of 50lbs.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Must be able to pass a Background Check.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Previous experience in harvesting or in the cannabis industry preferred, but is not required.
  • Previous harvesting, curing and processing experience is required. Metrc experience is preferred.
