West Coast Sunrise is seeking an individual that has general knowledge of farming including planting, irrigating, plant nutrition, climate control and harvesting. In this position you would be required to perform daily checks of all plants, check media moisture, spray pesticides, and analysis of overall crop health as well as has the ability to determine and understand crop needs and properly provide correct solutions. Farmers are also responsible manicuring and maintaining gardening practices on all plants throughout all stages including mom farm, mini veg, veg, and flower. Farmers will also be required to maintain the cleanliness of production areas and maintenance involved with their corresponding team. This is a full time, year-round position that would require longer hours and weekends during the busy season.

Responsibilities:

  • Transplanting clones or plants into larger containers to fit their growth phase.
  • Manicure and maintain gardening practices on all plants throughout their life cycle.
  • Moving plants from one grow phase room to another grow phase room.
  • Cleaning all equipment that is used within the Production Facility.
  • Openly communicate to supervisor or manager on issues or complications that arise in the garden.
  • Grow, harvest and deliver large volumes of high quality cannabis.

    • Requirements:

  • Must be able to complete numerous manual labor task in a timely manner.
  • Must be able to follow directions and learn different growing methods.
  • Be able to work independently or in a team setting.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • You are trustworthy and hardworking
  • You have reliable transportation
  • Must understand and implement the rules, regulations, policies, and procedures set forth by the state; a pursuit to further their understanding and knowledge of the industry and laws is required.
  • Fundamental knowledge, as well as the ability to be taught and guided in areas related to harvesting, drying, trimming and curing.
  • Skill in analyzing potential problems with a plant or the product being processed.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Physical aptitude and health necessary to perform manual labor tasks required for the proper management of grow warehouse and green house.
  • Must have accountability, proactive behavior and strong attention to detail.
  • 1-3 years of experience with verifiable proof of previous employment.

    • Experience: Farming: 1 year (Preferred) proof of employment: 1 year (Preferred)
