Jetty Extracts, a leading California based cannabis company, is looking for a highly motivated student in finance to perform a brief internship with our team in Oakland. We are a well-established, licensed cannabis company growing at a rapid rate. M11-18-0000058, A11-18-0000048 , H&S 11362, and SB420.

This year, Jetty Extracts has launched a nationally distributed CBD vaporizer line, Jetty CBD. An intern of best fit will have the opportunity to work with a very rapidly growing cannabis brand that is poised to become a global player in emerging cannabis and CBD markets.Our summer intern seeks to gain exposure to the inner workings of the highest-growth industry in the country. The company needs a motivated financial analyst with strong excel skills who can turnaround quick results and provide analytics to be used in the decision-making process. The candidate will analyze financial results, trends, and opportunities and recommend action directly to Senior Management. The current internship is a 6-week term with future employment possible and the candidate will gain access to industry contacts across the state.

Required Experience:

  • Demonstrated experience with financial modeling. Tasks will include budgeting and analysis.
  • Current enrollment in Finance at an accredited university. Undergrad or masters enrollment considered.
  • Preferred coursework in Operations Management
  • Strong analytical skills: mastery of excel, some statistics, and data science experience preferred.
  • Entrepreneurial drive: ability to work self-sufficiently and constantly search for better quality, more efficiency, and clarity of analysis.

    • Duration: 6 weeks

    Compensation: This is an unpaid internship. Will consider stipend for students enrolled in a masters program.
