Facilities Farm Manager

We are Shadowbox Farms, a tier-II OLCC licensed recreational cannabis producer. We are looking to fill a position for a Facilities Manager.

Position reports to General Manager

Job Purpose Summary: Our Facilities Manager works closely with the General Manager and garden team to inspect, maintain and repair all farm facilities systems. They are the jack-of-all trades and ultimately responsible for keeping the operation running safely, smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

Inspect, maintain and repair mechanical, electrical, irrigation, greenhouse and HVAC systems

Coordinate system repairs and monitor system performance

Maintain adequate parts inventory and work with Assistant Farm Manager to plan, budget and order supplies

Execute equipment audits and maintain equipment and heavy machinery

Ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards and security protocols

Participate in safety committee meetings and training to foster a culture of safety

Create or update SOPs for facilities processes and vehicle maintenance records

Actively and quickly report any facilities or safety concerns and partner with GM on solutions

Supervise and oversee facilities team and projects with a spirit of collaboration

Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to OSHA guidelines and reporting safety hazards in a timely manner

Install, operate and repair irrigation system

Collaborate with the Compliance Specialist to ensure facility-wide OLCC compliance

Maintain the grounds and landscape of the farm to keep it tidy with each changing season

Qualifications:

Must be at least 21 years of age

Valid OLCC Marijuana Worker Permit

Ability to bend and lift 30+ pounds

At least 2 years experience in a handyman or facilities role

Physical stamina for outdoor labor year-round

Reliable independent transportation

Must be a team player with great communication skills

Computer or network admin skills a plus
