Responsibilities
· Operate production equipment for cannabis extraction, filtering, dilution, formulation and filling.
· Cleaning, Calibration, Qualification and Maintenance of equipment involved in cannabis oil production.
· Maintain strict inventory control over starting materials, work in progress and finished product.
· Maintain batch production records in accordance with standard operating procedures.
· Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures and regulations.
· Work in compliance with established safe work practices and all company SOPs.
· Quality Control testing of in-process materials and finished product including documentation of variances and corrective actions.
· Run analytical equipment, perform analysis of experimental data and report results.
· Keep up to date with relevant scientific and technical developments as they pertain to the cannabis industry.
· Enhance the company's value proposition by aligning oil production practices and products with operational efficiencies.
Experience:
· Experience performing tests, analyzing experimental data, and documenting results.
· Experience in GLP, GMP, ISO 9001 or ISO 17025 environment.
· Experience with supercritical CO2 extraction and ethanol extraction is considered an asset.
· Experience in manufacturing of narcotics or precursors considered an asset

· Strong understanding of Chemistry and mechanical engineering principals
Other:
· Diploma or Bachelors of Science in chemical engineer
· 5-7 years experience in chemical manufacturing including within a lab environment
· Ability to manage several high priority tasks with an entrepreneurial spirit
· Metric driven and numbers focused
· Trustworthy with exceptional decision-making abilities
