Extraction Manager

Lowell Herb Co, is looking for a Manager of our Oil Product Line. Ideal candidates will be knowledgeable, proficient and experienced in all extraction processes involved in the consistent production of high quality oils and concentrates. The Cannabis Extraction Manager will be responsible for maintaining the production schedule, meeting production goals and deadlines, managing a team of extraction technicians and maintaining records for compliance and internal reporting.

Ideal candidate should have experience making ice water hash, using a rosin press, and formulation and experience filling cartridges.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Keep accurate records for all daily production logs
  • Managing inventory
  • Cold Press Extraction
  • Homogenization and formulation
  • Maintaining Production Schedule
  • Manage extraction techs
  • Ensuring chain of custody is maintained
  • Procurement and maintenance of equipment for lab

    • Qualifications/Requirements

  • Knowledge of chemical extraction and distillation/refining theory
  • Experience with with extraction, preparation, and purification of cannabinoids
  • Supervisory experience, preferably in chemical process operations
  • Experience with detailed record keeping proper labeling and data tracking
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in chemistry, biology, agriculture or demonstrated field experience preferred
  • Prior hands-on laboratory experience in a Cannabis setting as Extraction Technician, preferred.
