Extraction Laboratory Lead

As the Extraction Laboratory Lead, you will schedule extraction techs and material for extraction, schedule and perform regular maintenance, clean and repair all equipment, schedule and maintain testing for research and development as well as state compliance, maintain extractions laboratory equipment performance by establishing quality standards, develop operations quality, troubleshoot procedures, ensure staff compliance, certify instrument performance, arrange equipment replacement, service, and repair.

As the Extraction Laboratory Lead, you will:

Develop, implement, and hold the team accountable to relevant KPIs with a focus on continuous improvement by producing weekly production reports and attending company meetings

Operate, maintain, and make adjustments to extraction laboratory equipment such as, liquid chromatography systems, pumps, scales, glassware, evaporators, distillation, and other laboratory equipment following current good practices and standard operating procedures

Plan and manage production schedules that effectively leverage capacity, labor and materials to meet volume, cost and quality goals

Maintain accountability and inventory of all supplies, raw materials, finished products. and equipment by completing forms, reports, logs and records

Your experience and skills include:

BS/BA Degree in Chemistry/Engineering or related field preferred, Associates required 3-5 years related experience in process management in a pharmaceutical, dietary supplement manufacturing, or similar industry. Licensed cannabis manufacturing experience preferred but not necessary
