This role involves:

Laboratory Environment, Laboratory Equipment, Hemp, Extracted Oil, Organic Compounds.

This position takes direction and completes tasks assigned by the Extraction Lab Manager with the primary responsibility to monitor, maintain and organize the efficiencies of the extraction area while adhering to all State and company requirements.

Candidates will be responsible for learning and performing extraction processes per the SOP's.

The primary responsibilities of this role include:

  • Receive prepped material from intake and begin extraction process.
  • Apply a strong technical/scientific foundation to deliver high quality results in a safe and effective manner.
  • Ensure accurate and timely production.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment under deadlines.
  • Ability to understand and operate extraction equipment.
  • Maintain company records as needed.
  • Keep clean work areas and organized equipment for a well-maintained lab environment
  • Operate, maintain, repair and make adjustments to lab equipment.
  • Quality control.
  • Responsibility and accountability are essential.
  • Maintain lab inventory and place orders when necessary.

    • The qualified candidate should possess the following requirements:

  • Cannabis or Hemp extraction experience
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Able to follow instructions
  • Great attention to detail
  • Continually exhibit honesty and integrity
  • Communicate effectively
  • Must be reliable and dependable
  • Must be proficient in the proper safety and handling of chemicals, substances and hazardous waste.
  • Able to stand for long periods and be able to push, bend, lift and reach
  • Working knowledge of ethanol extraction processes
  • Basic knowledge of laboratory equipment

    • Job Type: Full-time, Monday-Friday. Hours may vary to meet production needs. Weekends may be necessary at times. Pay will be based on experience.

    Experience: Cannabis/Hemp Extraction: 1 year (Required) 2 or more years (Preferred) in a professional setting. Previous ethanol extraction preferred.

    Education: Bachelor's (Preferred) High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)
