We are actively searching for a dynamic, proactive, detailed and strong leader to join our team as the Edibles Department Manager for our Greenfield, CA production facility. The Edibles Department Manager is responsible for leading the overall ordering and production operation with tactical and strategic leadership, to ensure proper delivery of the highest quality food products to our customer.
Requirements for consideration:
Bachelor’s degree or 8 - 10 years experience managing a Production/Manufacturing Warehouse or Commissary
Experience within Food & Beverage, required
Possess an ownership mentality with an attention to detail, deadlines and holding their team accountable to performance standards
ServSafe Certification, a plus
Some Responsibilities:
Execute sound and appropriate management of production and delivery teams
Review production orders or schedules to ascertain product data such as types, quantities, and specifications of products and scheduled delivery dates to plan department operations effectively
Set standards for operational excellence regarding product manufacturing, safety, and distribution
Implement operational audits for production facility according to agreed-upon schedules
Conducts weekly physical inventories, and produces weekly reports with a comparison of Cost of Good’s (COG’s)
Supports end-to-end supply chain process by ensuring all products are available at the appropriate quantities and approved specifications
Experience:
Production Management: 5 years (Required)
Food Service Production: 2 years (Preferred)
Commissary Leadership: 2 years (Required)
Must have USDA, HASSUP, and FSMA
