Dispensary Manager
Uncle Herb’s in Homer Alaska is seeking to hire a Dispensary Manager / Operations Manager. This individual would be a participant in the management team and would be involved in the day-to-day operations of running a retail cannabis business in Homer, Alaska.
The desired candidate for the Uncle Herb's Homer Dispensary Manager position would have the following experience and qualifications:
-Minimum of 2 years of prior work experience as a Retail Store Manager/ Dispensary Manager or equivalent 3 years of Assistant Management experience in a Recreational Cannabis Dispensary. (Professional work experience with extensive customer service experience may be substituted for Retail/ Dispensary Management experience.) -Must have prior staff scheduling and payroll management experience. -Must have a strong attention to detail and be able to work in a team environment. -Must have Cash Handling Experience. -Must have strong organizational skills. -Must demonstrate prior Marketing experience and have worked with multiple Media platforms.
-Prior Accounting experience with Quickbooks is preferred. Ability to analyze accounting reports and meet AP and AR obligations. -Prior experience with Inventory Management,Compliance and Quality Control of products is preferred.
Job Responsibilities: -The individual would be responsible for the general operations and smooth function of a Marijuana Retail Store and would bethe main point of contact for the Management Team.
-Main Responsibilities would include: Hiring & Managing Staff, Scheduling, Inventory Control, Product Ordering & Reorder Management,Supervision of Production Area and Product Packaging, Daily Cash Management, Menu Management, Marketing & Media, Events Planning, -The Marijuana industry in Alaska is regulatedby the Marijuana Control Board (AMCO) and this individual would need to learn the regulations and strictly abide by them. -This individual would serve as a Lead ComplianceOfficer. Follow all logs and procedures to manage a regulatorycompliant business.
-This individual would keep product Menusupdated daily and maintain marketing and deals platform for our business.
-Other responsibilities as defined. -Individual would be supervised by the General Manager.
