Following policies set forth by the Company, provide supervisory support in the general operation of the company retail location through the oversight and scheduling of all dispensary staff and operations to maximize department efficiency. Direct, manage, and provide administrative support to the daily activities and operations of retail department. Manage resources, develop and review standard operating procedures; policies and operational guidelines. Participate in the ongoing strategic planning, implementation, and fulfillment of department goals and directives.
Essential Functions:
Research, maintain, understand, and disseminate to subordinates all aspects of compliance with regard to local, state, and federal regulations, as well as billing or licensing requirements
Exercise significant authority and direction when addressing items that concern the retail store, including:
Develop and implement rules, regulations, policies, and procedures to advance the company’s mission, vision, goals, and objectives.
Make hiring, discipline, termination, or advancement of employee decisions.
Execute performance reviews for subordinate employees, in conjunction with the Assistant Retail Manager.
Monthly meetings with Chief Executive Officer, Chief Operating Officer, and Chief Financial Officer; responsible for relaying all appropriate information back to the retail staff.
Manage and Champion the Retail Point of Sale System
Create SOP’s to address all aspects of software utilization
Supervise and guide staff towards maximum performance and efficiency when using the POS
Monitor stock levels and purchases and ensure they stay within budget
Keep abreast of sales trends to determine the need for improvements in the store
Analyze sales and revenue reports and make forecasts
Manage, supervise, and direct the activities of assigned staff and functions for their retail location including:
Making sure the store is adequately staffed at all times
Delegate work and monitor progress
Guide, train, and develop employees in the accomplishment of their duties and goals
Manage and coordinate store operations, including:
Daily activities
Maintenance
Training and Education
Scheduling
Quality Assurance
Tracking of all purchasing to align inventory with consumer buying trends
Investigate and coordinate follow-up on customer complaints
Responsible for maintaining customer/vendor relationships, including handling issues, concerns, complaints and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Budget management including:
Commodities
Contracts
Capital Expenses
Enforcement of purchasing requirements
Headcounts/labor control
Identify problems, research possible solutions, recommend alternatives, and implement solutions selected by the Executive Management.
Responsible for monitoring facility security and the general operation of facility security equipment.
Serve as the Quality Control agent regarding approval, salvage and/or destruction of all medicated products in inventory.

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, management, governmental agencies, community members and the general public.
Ability to use standard office equipment, computer equipment and software including word processing, database management, spreadsheet applications and electronic mail.
Additional Requirements :
Must be a minimum of 21 years of age
Must pass any and all required background checks
Must be and remain compliant with any and all legal or company regulations for working in the industry
Minimum Education and Experience :
High School Diploma or equivalent
Previous Retail Management experience preferred
Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered, including internal experience.
Working Conditions :
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to perform grasping, talking, hearing, seeing, standing, sitting, bending, twisting and repetitive motions.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Must be able to lift, carry and balance up to 40 pounds (100 pounds with assistance)
Must be able to tolerate dusty, strong smelling marijuana odors, and be able to tolerate exposure to the product.
