Dispensary Assistant Manager

The Assistant Manager is responsible for assisting with all day-to-day processes carried out in the Dispensary, managing the Dispensary in strict accordance with all state and local rules and regulations, and complying with all organizational policies. The Assistant Manager will ensure the accuracy of product promotions and accept all incoming product pursuant to state and local regulations. The Assistant Manager will provide high-quality customer service at all times.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Managing product inventory and assisting with inventory control decisions
  • Safeguarding against inventory shrinkage and misconduct by retail associates
  • Using the Point of Sale system to ensure all relevant information is recorded accurately
  • Maintaining the integrity and security of the dispensary by storing all product compliantly and only allowing access to authorized personnel
  • Maintaining absolute confidentiality
  • Assisting with the implementation of new initiatives
  • Assisting with managing and motivating a team to improve efficiency
  • Promoting high-quality customer service of team
  • Performing Budtending or Front Desk duties, as needed
  • Assisting with managing the sales floor and inventory fulfillment departments
  • Opening and closing the Dispensary with and without supervision of the Dispensary Manager
  • Employment Requirements:

  • Must have valid Colorado Driver’s License/Identification and proper I-9 supporting documentation (Social Security Card or Birth Certificate)
  • Must be 21 years of age
  • Must have a current and valid MED Key Badge
  • Must possess excellent customer service skills
  • Must have cash-handling and inventory experience
  • Qualifications:

  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • High level of responsibility
  • Flexible schedule and willingness to pitch-in wherever needed
  • Confident and customer-service oriented when interacting with staff and customers
  • Applicable experience as a retail assistant manager ideal, but not required
