The DoP is the leader of our production team. He/She will be responsible for managing all aspects of production and optimizing our internal processes to provide best-in-class service for our clients. Our clients range from large scale global/national brands to start-up entrepreneurs. The services we offer are similarly diverse and span a broad spectrum from brand strategy, product and packaging design, web and software development, marketing and innovative package solutions that support our client's success. We require excellent communication skills, attention to detail and a natural ability to convey authenticity to new clients.

What you will do

  • Coach, develop and grow a team of project management professionals
  • Supervise project managers to forecast resourcing needs and timelines to drive and project schedule and prioritize utilizing resources efficiently
  • Work closely with finance team on tracking/reporting key financial and project health metrics
  • Source and oversee the management of contractors that further support the creative needs of the business unit
  • Be the voice of the team on the production leadership, and build the goals and plans to support the business objectives
  • Collaborate with marketing leaders and executive partners to drive key business initiatives through strong production and project management initiatives
  • Bring a strong business instinct and analytics to the production process
  • Who you are
  • Responsible for leading a team of 3-5 Project Managers
  • Must have creative agency production experience in a leadership role
  • Ability to work in a faced-paced, energetic, lively, and occasionally stressful environment
  • Experience estimating creative service projects is essential
  • Experience managing budgets including outside contractors, agencies, and other creative resources
  • Proven cross functional relationship builder with superb interpersonal skills
  • Strategic thinker and self-starter; able to work independently; comfortable with managing internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to travel to Hybrid office in Santa Rosa up to 50% of time for first 6 months, less frequently after that
  • Cannabis industry knowledge preferred but not essential
  • Experience in the graphics, marketing, print and web industries is preferred

  • This position requires frequent sitting, standing, reaching, walking, and operating a computer workstation
  • Must have finger dexterity, ability to use keyboard/ten key
