Delivery Driver

We are looking for a dedicated Delivery Driver to undertake the responsibility of transporting our inventory of medicinal products organized that are ready to be shipped to clientele. As a Delivery Driver, you will be performing both shipping and hands-on assignments including but not limited to providing assistance with finalizing orders and packaging products for distribution, loading and unloading trucks with products for dispensaries throughout the State of MD and ensuring the timely delivery of goods.

Essential Functions

  • Guarantee the dispatching of products like trimmed cannabis, concentrates, troches, tablets and even the labels for sale to MD dispensaries.
  • Conduct inspections of delivery vehicles before departing to deliver products.
  • Pack and load products onto trucks according to company’s specifications.
  • Deliver orders to clientele on assigned routes and maintain communication with supervisors when in route.
  • Unload and review deliveries with our clientele to ensure order accuracy.
  • Keep records of order and delivery confirmations, vehicle maintenance, cash logs, schedules and other necessary information and data.
  • Assist with the coordination of supplies, the labeling of products, the trimming of cannabis, the preparation of concentrates and the packaging of our products.
  • Perform all duties assigned by your supervisors.

    • Work Environment

    *While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud. Also, due to the nature of our work, employees are exposed to pungent smells released by the cannabis plant, which can cause discomfort for some.

    Physical Demands

    *The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items over 75 pounds.

    • Desired Qualifications:

  • Diploma or related work experience in inventory management and deliveries
  • Shipping, Warehouse or Logistics experience preferred
  • Possession of Valid Class A CDL
  • Minimum 1 years’ experience as a Delivery Deriver
  • Physical aptitude and health necessary to perform manual labor tasks required
  • Basic knowledge of cannabis plant qualities
  • Accountability and proactive behavior

    • Physical Demands:

    Include standing, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds by themselves and 75+ pounds with a buddy, carrying product, moving and making adjustments to process equipment.

    ALL VERANO BRANDS POSITIONS REQUIRE:

  • Must be 21 years of age
  • Willingness to work long and irregular hours if needed, including weekends and holidays
  • Must pass a background check and submit personal information to become a state agent. This includes but may not be limited to participating in financial and criminal background checks, drug testing and polygraph testing.
  • Completion of all required prerequisite and ongoing training, including but not limited to Americans for Safe Access Cultivation and/or Distribution Patient Focused Certification

    • Experience:

  • Delivery Driving: 1 year (Required)
  • commercial driving: 2 years (Preferred)

    • Education: High school or equivalent (Required)

    License: Class A CDL (Commercial Driver's License) (Preferred)

    Work authorization: United States (Required)
