Delivery Driver

️ Testing

The City driver is responsible for picking up and delivering material between manufacturing facilities and customers to support the selling and sample testing process.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform pre-trip safety inspection of materials
  • Secure materials inside transportation vehicle using appropriate tools and supplies
  • Ensures quality material delivery and follows all compliance procedures
  • Complete and verify shipping manifests
  • Prepare required documentation and gather required signatures
  • Verify and complete required documentation and reports including but not limited to; mileage and gas
  • Follow dispatch instructions and deliver material in a timely manner; report arrivals, delays, and equipment problems
  • Comply with California Bureau of Cannabis Control transportation regulations and procedures
  • Comply with company fleet usage and safe driving policies and procedures
  • Qualifications:

  • Ability to stand during entire shifts, excluding meal and rest periods
  • Ability to move and lift 75 pounds and maneuver any package of any weight above 75 pounds using the proper equipment
  • Consistent ability to bend or twist using the waist and knees
  • Out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be expected

  • Job Requirements:

  • Must be 21 or older
  • Must have a valid Class-C drivers license
  • Clean driving record
  • Able to successfully complete a live scan background check
  • Must pass a physical and a drug test
  • Work Environment:

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently works in outside weather conditions. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals and vibration The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet while in the office, or moderately loud when in the field

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, talk and hear. The employee is constantly required to use hands and fingers to feel, handle or operate objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms.     The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus

    Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

    This is a full-time position. Hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., 40 hours per week Travel:

    Travel is primarily local during the business day

    Required Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1 year of relevant experience, or any equivalent combination of education and experience that demonstrates the ability to do the job
  • Valid Driver License
  • Preferred Education and Experience: Clean driving record
