Seeking Part-time Customer Service/ Check-in Representative
Days: Tuesday (8:30-5pm), Wednesday (8:30-5pm), Thursday (8:30-5pm)

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Responsible for ensuring each Maine Organic Therapy patient receives outstanding service by providing a positive and friendly environment. Assist patients with their personal needs, maintain solid product knowledge, facilitate new membership and patient renewal processes and always provide the highest level of customer service.
Provide exceptional customer service in accordance with established standards.
Develop and maintain rapport with our patients.
Ensure patients’ concerns and/or questions are solved and answered promptly and efficiently, and communicate patients requests and/or problems to manager when needed.
Recommend, select and help locate the proper medicine for patients depending on their individual needs.
Communicate the effects of different types of cannabis to patients clearly and effectively.
Ring up sales on Point of Sale System and process cash.
Ensure strict controls to protect organization assets at the direction of management.
Assist in display maintenance and housekeeping.
Assist in processing and replenishing merchandise and monitoring floor stock, and participate in inventory counts.
Facilitate the new membership and patients renewal processes.
Perform data entry and manage the patient database.
Answer phone calls and forward to the appropriate staff member.
Book appointments for patients for services they request.
Maintain a current stock of New Patient folders, Educational Materials, Intake Forms, etc.
Frequently maintain dispensary’s cleanliness, i.e. dusting, glass cleaning, vacuuming, sweeping and sanitation.
Maintain a positive work environment conducive to trust and respect.
Maintain strictest confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA guidelines.
Perform other related work as required.
Rapidly package large quantities of product.
Employment Requirements
Must have a valid Maine drivers license.
Must be 21 years of age
Pass a background check and drug test
Punctual, meticulous, reliable
Courteous manners with patients
Must be able to work Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 8:30-5pm
Appropriate Attire

Preliminary testing for certain tasks
Qualifications
Good communication skills
Responsible
Flexible
Cannabis knowledge is a plus
Cashier Experience is a plus
Computer skills (Be able to input customers information in the system)

Serious Inquiries ONLY. (Due to the industry and the wait time to start employment, we are looking for someone who can commit to this position for at least 1 year.
Must be able to perform all required job tasks while adhering strictly to the Maine Medical Marijuana Program.
Must be able to perform all job requirements while maintaining strict patient confidentiality at all times.
Every Maine Organic Therapy associate will receive on job training, with 30, 60, and 90 day goals for progress and achievement.
Please be aware that employment does not start immediately, due to State background check (Typical wait time 3 weeks).
