We are seeking a full-time Cultivation/Packaging Specialist to join our team at Pure Dakota, the medical marijuana manufacturing facility located in Bismarck, North Dakota.

Primary cultivation responsibilities include the horticulture duties associated with the care and maintenance of plants. This encompasses everything from propagation to harvest through to drying and curing. The packaging team assists with all aspects of preparing cannabis for sale once it is ready to be packaged. Successful candidate must have the ability to accurately perform filling, packaging, and labeling of medical marijuana products including bulk flower, pre-rolls, cartridges, and concentrates while maintaining quality standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Horticulture duties associated with the care and maintenance of plants.
  • Effectively prepare flower material for pre-roll production and run the basic machinery to roll pre-rolls.
  • Accurate measuring, packaging, and labeling of cannabis flower, ensuring compliance with state regulations and company policies and procedures
  • Maintain the highest levels of cleanliness and sterility inside the packaging area
  • Skills Required:

  • Strong math skills required.
  • Ability to accurately weigh Cannabis.
  • Capable of accurately performing manual labor tasks on a regular basis.
  • Detail oriented, including the ability to detect quality defects and perform accurate counts and measurements.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
  • Computer literate
  • Ability to work well in a group and independently; demonstrate self-motivation.
  • Experience:

  • Prior packaging or assembly line work experience preferred.
  • Prior cultivation experience including cloning, transplanting, defoliation, harvesting, drying, trimming preferred.
  • Knowledge:

  • Background knowledge in the cultivation of cannabis preferred,
  • Understanding of the demands of a commercial cultivation facility in a regulated environment preferred.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel and ability to learn seed to sale systems.
  • Experience with data entry software required.
  • Must be willing to participate in a criminal history record check. Valid driver’s license required along with reliable transportation. Minimum age of 21 years required.
