Cultivation/Harvest Specialist

Responsible for the horticulture duties associated with the care and maintenance of plants. This encompasses everything from propagation to harvest through to drying and curing. Maintain plant health throughout the cultivation process. Maintain accurate cultivation/harvest records and assist with the activities related to the production of medical marijuana.

Minimum of two years of cultivation experience including cloning, transplanting, defoliation, harvesting, drying, trimming and waste disposal preferred. Experience in pruning and executing proper canopy management. Experience in understanding and maintaining the health of plants, weed and pest control, and utilizing farm equipment preferred. Experience with data entry software required.

Background knowledge in the cultivation of cannabis preferred, and the understanding of the demands of a commercial cultivation facility in a regulated environment. Extensive knowledge of plant diseases, insects and fungi, as well as plant treatment options preferred. In-depth knowledge of micronutrients, beneficial bacteria and nutrient implementation. Understanding of horticulture practices including cloning plants.

Ability to identify and remedy plant disease states. Strong math skills required. Able to accurately weigh Cannabis. Ability to work a flexible schedule; including evenings and weekends required. Computer literacy required.

Willing to participate in a criminal history record check. Valid drivers license required along with reliable transportation. Minimum age of 21 years required.
