A cultivation team member will report directly to their lead assigned to by the Grower but may changeover time. If or when this change takes place, you will be notified the day of.As a cultivation team member, your duties vary day to day but will also be recurring from a macro level. The goal is to raise and care for the plants leaving the nursery until they have been harvested and transferred to the drying process. In between this time, you will make sure the plants are being fed, hydrated, and identifying pests that are harming the plant. There will also be transplanting, and other maintenance duties assigned to you by your lead.
Duties and Responsibilities
Tasks include but are not limited to:
· Waterplants
· Transplant
· Prune
· Defoliate
· Propertymaintenance
· Providenutrients and chemicals as instructed by lead
· Transferplants by hand or as instructed by lead, from one section to another
· Knowledgeof plant count per greenhouse, per section and per row
· Knowledgeof healthy and unhealthy plants
· Immediatelynotify lead of any plant that needs attention, includes but not limited to;
o Signsof dehydration
o Discoloring
o Signsof pests or pest attacks that haven’t been addressed of to your knowledge
o Unusualodor
o Plant,soil, or pot damage
· Maintaina clean and safe work environment
· Identifyand report any safety or hazard concerns
· Followall work and safety rules
Physical Requirements
· Abilityto properly lift, up to 60lbs
· Abilityto squat, bend, push, kneel and reach
· Abilityto walk, stand, kneel, and sit for a prolonged period
· Abilityto work in warm, cold, or wet environment
