Cultivation Assistant

HMS Health is hiring Cultivation Assistants to assist in various aspects of the production, harvest, and packaging processes. This is an entry level position with room for learning and growth. Applicants must be capable of passing government background checks with fingerprinting and drug tests.

These positions will work many hours while seated or standing and remain completely focused on efficiently trimming plants and maintaining expected production levels. Other duties include ensuring all harvested plants are hung, dried and de-stemmed properly, and are correctly entered into the tracking software system. Duties may also include weighing and packaging accordingly. Includes additional duties as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Relevant experience in greenhouse, cultivation, or manufacturing operations
  • Detail oriented with an excellent work ethic
  • Must have the ability to push, pull, or lift a minimum of 50 pounds if relevant to job duties listed above, and also have the ability to stand for extended periods of time
  • At least 21 years of age and authorized to work in the US; proper employment documentation; reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
