We are looking for a dedicated individual with a positive and friendly attitude to join our analytical chemistry team. This position will require someone who is professional, comfortable working around Cannabis, and is familiar with working on a team.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Data analysis, troubleshooting, and maintenance of HPLC-DAD and GC-FID.
  • Ensure adherence to GLP and ISO/IEC 17025:2005 and safety regulations.
  • Assist in other aspects of lab operation: sample prep, sample staging, and cleaning.
  • Flexibility with ever changing state regulations.
  • Assist in continuous improvement of in-house methods and quality controls.
  • Qualifications:

  • B.S. In Chemistry, Biochemistry or related field, ACS-Certified degree preferred.
  • 1-3 years of experience.
  • Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in working in a cGLP and/or ISO accredited environment is a plus.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The candidate must have strong collaboration skills, excellent communication and written skills.
  • The candidate must possess keen organizational skills and be detail oriented.
  • Experience with HPLC or GC analysis and troubleshooting is a preferred.
  • Experience with LC-MS/MS or GC-MS/MS is a plus.
  • Flexible hours between 7a – 7p, Mon-Sat.
  • Able to find reliable transportation. East Oakland – BART station is within walking distance.
  • Local candidates preferred, no relocation stipend available.
