You are the Cannabis Educator working in a Fire & Flower shop– your main mission is to maintain a beautiful shop while providing a world-class customer experience in collaboration with your enthusiastic and passionate peers to accomplish this! We are known for our exceptional customer experience through education, knowledge of products and a personal connection.

Working out of our Kingston shop, you will be a brand ambassador with a focus to educate, sell and promote cannabis & cannabis accessories. You will keep the Fire & Flower flag waving high by participating in continuous education and compliant with all provincial regulations pertaining to cannabis retail sales.

To be successful in this role you must demonstrate the following;

Passionate about learning and curious about the cannabis industry and the products we offer

Able to connect with customers and assess their needs prior to making recommendations

Create an exceptional customer experience througheducation, knowledge of products and grit for sales

Ability to navigate point of sale systems

Participate in weekly in cannabis continuing education

Comply with all provincial regulations pertaining to cannabis retail sales

Assist other team members or leaders with daily tasks, cleaning, restocking, packaging, labeling, etc.

Comply with inventory handling policies & participate in inventory audits

Work as a shop team to create a curated experience unique to each customer

Qualifications:

3+ years of retail or guest service experience with regulated industry experience considered an asset

Ability to communicate and connect with customers & team members '

Obtain your CannSell certification

Fit for duty at all times while on shift

Proficient with basic computer software (POS) is an asset

Must pass all required background checks

Must be 19 years of age or older to work in this regulated industry

Position is up to 25 hours per week, dependent on availability and the needs of the business. Job
