A Business Development Manager will be responsible for executing the sales and marketing strategy of Apex Trading in our current markets and as we expand into new states. The cannabis industry is quickly evolving and requires a particular skill set. Job Description

  • Identify, develop and nurture leads generated from marketing and sales campaigns.
  • Client Acquisitions through outbound calls and emails. You must be a Hunter!
  • Attend industry specific networking events.
  • Contact current clients via phone routinely to ensure they are being provided the products they need and the customer service they deserve.
  • Provide ongoing support to current clients to ensure software adoption and upsell new features
  • Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Education/Experience: At least 3 years work experience in outbound Sales
  • Basic tndustry knowledge is required
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivated and detail oriented with proven ability to stay on task while displaying thorough follow-through skills
  • Technology savvy with a proven ability to utilize Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and CRM applications
  • Ability to provide own transportation to and from client meetings and events (reimbursed)
  • Responsibilities

  • Client acquisitions through outbound calls and software demonstrations
  • Assist with client on-boarding and ongoing support
  • Promote & up-sell new feature roll-outs
  • Foster strong long-lasting relationships
  • Attend various networking events
  • Experience: Sales: 3 years (Required)
