Our company requires the Service Clerk to assume the role in assisting and educating people in finding the best options for their needs and ensuring patrons are receiving the best care possible. The Service Clerk will be responsible for demonstrating efficient work methods, educating people on products and dosing, intake and verification, operating a POS system, and cashing out patrons while maintaining a compassionate and safe environment for people to access products. This role is a complex one. He/She will go through an extensive training process and continual training to ensure they are qualified to make accurate recommendations to each person they help.

Summary of essential job functions

  • Administer the best level of care and service to our patrons
  • Organize workflow and have an understanding of duties or delegated tasks
  • Advanced product knowledge
  • Cash handling
  • Manage time efficiently and effectively
  • Monitory inventory levels, asses product needs and communicate them to the proper people
  • POS operations including creating new orders, adjusting open orders, adding items, discounts, applying loyalty points, voiding items, cashing out orders, and reprinting receipts
  • Pass on information to upper management from patrons and vice versa
  • Stay current on laws and city ordinances
  • Ensure adherence to legal and company policies and procedures
  • Communicate effectively with management and employees
  • Work with others to create a positive environment to best serve our patrons
