This Budtender role will be the initial point of contact for our customers. We are looking for friendly, outgoing and mature customer service driven staff. Main duties are to help drive sales and create positive customer experiences. Secondary duties will be to assist the daytime or evening managers with their opening and closing store responsibilities. Peaceleaf is looking for individuals who always want to better themselves through continued education and training in this exciting new Canadian cannabis industry.

Workplace Expectations:

  • Maintain a high level of customer service
  • Ensure accuracy in all transactions and procedures
  • Working within the framework of the laws governing the cannabis industry
  • Participate in all manners of store maintenance (vacuum/sweep sales floors/general cleanliness)
  • Maintain a high level of education in Cannabis based products
  • Maintain a professional appearance, demeanour and attitude at all times
  • Help management with duties for opening or closing the store
  • Skills/ Qualifications:

  • Must be minimum 18 years old at the time of application
  • SellSafe Retail Certification required
  • High School Diploma is a must and Post-Secondary education is an asset
  • Ability to learn and retain knowledge from the store-based cannabis and sales training modules
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable with touch tablets
  • Managing cash
  • Any retail, restaurant, customer service based experience is an asset
  • Strong command of the English language
  • Recommend products that tailor customer needs
