Brand Manager

We are looking to hire enthusiastic Brand Managers to be the face & voice of our brand. This role is a blend of Brand Ambassador, Business Development and Marketing to build brand awareness and sales with consumers and retailers. Prior experience in Sales, as a Brand Ambassador or other customer facing role is ideal.

Your mission

Telling the Eel River story and communicating our brand message to retailers and consumers through budtender trainings and in-store demos Increase awareness, generate sales opportunities and build consumer preference.

What we need you to do

  • Be the face of ERO with retailers, budtenders, consumers and our distributor partners in your assigned territory. Build genuine, trusting relationships with dispensary partners, budtenders and consumers.
  • Drive sales growth by activating exceptional in-store demos and managing your accounts. Educate consumers and excite them about our unique product offerings. Educate our retail partners and make us the “must have” brand on the shelf.
  • Partner with our distributor to meet/exceed business objectives including new retailer penetration, items per store, new item launches etc. Coordinate all in-store demos, in-market activations, budtender trainings, incentive program rollouts, product training etc. with distributor to ensure solid execution.
  • Track performance of demos & events, including customer feedback. Provide market insight on products, pricing, activation trends, consumer and retail opportunities.
  • Be the market expert- bring expertise of ERO brands, products, and competitors to help our ERO HQ team, retail partners and other stakeholders succeed.
  • Represent company at trade shows, industry events and consumer events.
  • Respond to all external and internal communications in a timely fashion
  • Must bring passion to ERO’s business full-time during working hours
  • What success looks like?

  • Growth in distribution (new stores)
  • Growth in unit and dollar sales
  • Execution of min. 2 demos per month per customer
  • Development of productive relationships with company, distributor, trade & community
  • Skills

  • Prior experience in sales, field marketing, brand ambassador or other customer facing role.
  • Knowledge of cannabis
  • Excellent communication skills

    Prior experience as a budtender or other cannabis related job

    Compensation

  • Base Annual Salary paid bi-weekly.
  • Mileage: 58.0 cents per mile (2019 IRS Standards)
  • Phone Allowance: $100 per month
  • Travel Expenses: out of pocket business expenses, per employee handbook
  • Bonus: Discretionary, target level 10% of base salary
  • Vacation: To be approved by Manager in advance

    Brand Manager position is full-time, exempt position. “Moonlighting” is not allowed.
