We are looking for an amazing individual to help us take our Brand Ambassador program to the next level. As a Brand Builder, you will interact directly with consumers, retailers, industry partners, and the cannabis community at large to educate them about Kin Slips and sublingual science. Brand Builders are strong communicators who promote trust in our brand, the science of cannabis, and engage with the local cannabis community.

In this role you will be expected to:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with retailer partners, distribution partners, and the cannabis community at large.
  • Be the face of Kin Slips through hosting product demos, educational events, and attending cannabis events as a member of our team.
  • Enter accurate data into our internal CRM to ensure clear communication and maintain a company-wide source of truth.
  • Create and implement strategies for identifying new prospects, and identify best practices to continuously improve our business strategy.
  • Keep up to date with educational materials, cannabis regulations, and other industry relevant information.
  • Maintain a reliable form of transportation and make in-person visits to retail partners.

  • You probably enjoy consuming cannabis, or at least feel passionate about its healing effects.
  • You have an understanding of the California cannabis regulatory framework. If you don't know what the regs are, this job probably isn't a fit for you.
  • You can speak eloquently about cannabis, science, and other relevant topics, and genuinely like talking to people.
  • You live in the area (LA or SF/Bay Area), and have a strong desire to get to know the people shaping the industry in your town. Also, it’s a very mobile position. You need a car and the ability to work flexible hours.

    • As a professional, be buttoned up!

  • You write full sentences when you write e-mails (with no grammatical errors!).
  • You don't need to be micromanaged, because when you say you will do something, you actually do it.
  • You see something isn't working. Your attitude is more along the lines of "let's fix it!" rather than "UGH NOTHING WORKS!"
  • You like to go above and beyond. Setting, achieving, and surpassing goals is your thing.
  • You are looking to build a career with us, and want to help scale the company.
  • You understand relationships take time to develop, and are willing to put in that time.

    • Experience: Retail: 2 years (Preferred)

    Location: Oakland, CA (Preferred)

    Shifts: Evening (Required)
